Destination: Hamburg July 2008

This week I was in Hamburg to shoot a calendar for next year 2009. The calendar is for a car company from Hamburg. I was for the first time in Hamburg and I must say that I enjoyed that trip very much. Hamburg is beautiful city, I had wonderful hotel, very good breakfast and everything went well. The whole production was perfect from the beginning till the end. The photographer Alexander Paulin was great and it was nice and very productive day. They have everything very well prepaired.
We had very good stylist, she brought very interesting outfits and accessories. For example we used latex gloves from very special kind of latex and many other interesting stuff. You can see it on the pictures but only if you are member. Also we had very good make-up artist.
Easily the whole team was great, so thanks all of them..

Few weeks ago I visited a beautiful place called Malaga in Spain. I was there for few days and I enjoyed the time there. It was bigger production so there were few more models and also some other people to take care of everything. We had really fun together. And the weather was exactly the weather I like.. 25 degrees of Celsius during the day that’s my favourite warmness.. On those pictures you can see another models Ariel and Veru , and they are really very cute and funny girls. We had so much fun. I will never forget how me and Ariel laugh about 10 minutes without break about the water fontaine at the airport. Silly girls :) It was very nice relaxation place with quite big and good waterworks. I never saw it before. Or we three together were in jakuzzi the last night, again very funny story.. Few more pictures from there you can see in the member section. Also we had so great make-up artist and cook there. The amazing make-up artist was Zuzka, who happened to be from the same city as I do. And Zanet the cook, the great cook as you can see it on my pictures according my professional food picture hehe…, she was czech living in Canaria Islands.. Mmmm that’s nice, isn’t it

NEW YORK, NEW YORK!!!
Manhattan – October 2007

And here you go! Finally I got that amazing chance to visit the most charming and wonderful city ever. Yes it’s NEW YORK alias Big Apple. It was my big wish for many years and finally it happened.. I am sooo happy about that. I fell in love with this city… I love that amazing atmosphere, wonderful people, who are very kind and friendly, subway, Hip Hop, R’n’B, and much more….

We can hear about NY everywhere, from movies, magazines, news,.. So at the end of last year in October 2007 I was there for the first time and I spent two beautiful weeks there. I must admit that everything didn’t went as well as expected but in comparing to visit NYC it wasn’t important. And also on the other hand I found there new friends who are really great people and I am happy I met them..
Each trip that I did there untill now was very special. I will try to write something about each of them.

The best shot I did on my first trip was with Robert Voltaire for Esquire magazine. Robert is one of the best photographer I have ever worked with. So thank you Robert.
I lived very near The Empire State Building, and I also saw it from my apartment terrace. It was amazing view which if you are member you can see on my private pictures below. First time I was there I made many pictures, so enjoy it because on my next trips there I didn’t make so many.
My first day I had to go to look the Time Square which was only about two blocks far from me. The weather was beautiful, what was very very not common at that time. It was almost like in summer. You can see it on those pictures and sorry I didn’t make more pictures with me, but if you are somewhere alone its difficult… :-) I made two long walking journeys during the second and the third day. First one was of course to go to see Downtown and Ground Zero. So maybe you will not believe me, but I walked from 40th street to Downtown only by walk with my small camera to make some pics and yes it was quite a long way. But I was there for the first time, didn’t know anything about NY so I wanted to see the city. So I went to downtown, thru Broadway to Ground Zero and to see The Satue of Liberty and back. I spent whole afternoon on that trip but it was still not enuf ;) There are so many cool places I’d like to see. I hope next time..
The second identification day of this trip I went to Uptown to Central Park. I love that place.. But when I got to the beginning of the Park it started to got dark, so according to my brother’s advice I turned back and went to my apartment. :-) Unfortunatelly after that I didnt have a time to go there again, so I didnt see much it, but I hope next time.
Also I must tell you who is that group I am with on those pictures, it’s amazing group of magical entertainers, who sing, perform magic, dance and much more. I met them in one beautiful club and I really enjoyed it there also because they started to show me their magics. :-) If you want to know more about them look at their websites: http://www.thejamesgangonline.com/
And one last thing I must tell you I was walking on the Fifth Avenue and can you imagine? I met there very funny homeless with two cute cats! I was very surprised that they didn’t go away. So he had to take care about them very well also according to the whiskas tin. so I was so happy about that. It was so nice..

New York is New York. So I can’t wait to go there again. Like I said already I didn’t have so much time to see much of this beautiful city, but hopefully next time…..

Mexican Magazine MAX

Here are some pictures from a beautiful shooting for mexican magazine MAX special edition 2008 SEXO that I shot with my photographer Martin. It took place in a wonderful very old Prague Grand Hotel Evropa. The the whole day was amazing, the location was perfect and the weather outside was great so everything went well and I was happy.. And the production of this shooting was quite huge, there was not only me but also about 10 more models and great team. So thanks all of them.

I traveled there because my best friend moved there for a job and because she is there few months already, I decided to go to visit her. Her name is Kaja and she is helping me with prepairing my cat’s websites. And because she is in England now the launching of the websites will be slower. But for sure one day we will launch it. I look forward so much for it.. I will inform you about everything.
England is beautiful country with many things to see but unfortunatelly I didn‘t have a time to see a lot, so I already plan my next trip there.
I really enjoyed the time I spent with her and I hope she will come back home soon. Home sweet home and cats are waiting… :-)

IDIF – Digital Photography Institute – Prague

It may appear that I only love staying in front of a camera, but it is not truth. Taking a pictures is my big hobby for a long time too. Most ofthen I shoot cats, cats and again cats, then dogs and also music concerts, kids, nature, cities etc… Its our big collective hobby together with my dad, what has a lot of advantages. I am happy for that, because we can share knowledges and experience. We enjoy it very much and because of this same hobby we are also together more. One of another advantage is that we can share our equipment because I persuaded him to buy the same mark of equipment (Canon) as I have.

In fact I had already attended three courses, Portrait Photography, Mastership in working with DSLR and Elementals of Advertising Photography. Each course was special. Each course was great. The course Portrait Photography was specialized to portrait photography and also for basic knowledges in working with camera. The second course Mastership in working with DSLR was really good. This course was specialized more deep and I learned more about technical aspects of the camera. I liked this course very much, because also after my father I am very technically oriented. :-) And the third course Advertising photography was about how to shoot different products and we practise a lot how to work with and to set the studio lightnings. I was very proud about my dad, he knew an answer for every, even difficult technical question of the lectors. All attenders were surprised. Taking pictures is dad’s hobby from his teenage.

We are looking forward to another courses that we will visit together again soon…

This summer I visited beautiful Greek island Naxos. I had visited Greece several times already and was really impressed again this time.

I spent a beautiful week there full of sun, sea and photo sessions. It was just in time of high temperatures in whole European region so you can imagine how hot there was. Photo sessions took place on the beach, in the sea and in many interesting places. The Island has a lot of different and very beautiful places to shoot. You can see those sets online soon. Thanks RH photo for his work. It was a nice work.

As usual I was very happy seeing any animals as you can see in pictures below. One very sweet cat came to me during one dinner. I gave her little bit of my chicken. :-) She was one from those happy animals that it was taken care of her in a good way.
But not all animals have great life like this cat. Due to extreme temperatures must animals * “fight” to survive *. Almost everytime they don’t have any porch which would protect them against the hot sun. But much bigger problem is that they often doesn’t have any water. Check the picture with a donkey. He had a porch to last out this hot weather. He was another one of those happy animals. I totally fell in love with him. He was so cute and fawning. When I wanted to leave him he started to give off strange sounds. He was trying to call me back. It was like if he was crying. I was sorrow of him and realised how tight relation can exist among people and animals and how such animal can also yen for human attention and love..

So I please you using this way. If there is a way you could help animals, do it. I am talking here about it because I saw more worse cases. I even saw how one man drove motorbike in a seriously fast speed with horse chained up behind it.
Our society is defined also on how people are able to take care of animals and other species. Not only we live on this planet. We should respect animals.

Underwater world is one of the most magical and breathtaking places you can ever imagine. Especially near coral islands and rich underworld life, which is range richly here in Philippines.

Within preparation of action thriller movie Deep Gold recording (more info on www.deepgoldthemovie.com) I passed scuba diving course with professional divers.
Some of them were Nadine and Daniel, both from Germany and very nice people. Nadine is also a Mermaid model and Daniel is also the photographer, he shot the set Philippine Mermaid, by the way.. :-)
On our underwater trip we found amazing ship-wreck already in late stage of decomposition and sea changed it up to its own imagination. Good cover for a lot of fish and sea animals has been created from it.

I must admit it was one of the most powerful experience for me.

Open air festival

One of the biggest and most famous music festival in our country called “Rock For People” took place in my city during the start of summer. This three day long festival brings music of all kinds and took place on five stages where were about 20.000 people.
And now the most important part of this fantastic festival – bands. About 200 bands had opportunity to play there. Among them I liked the most “The Hives, The Killers, Sick of it All, Toy Dolls, The Locos”, or from czech bands I would mention “Clou, Tata Bojs” and my favourite band “Basement Jaxx”.
Basement Jaxx were the top of the whole festival for me. The performance of Basement Jaxx was one of the greatests concert I have ever saw in my life. The band is duo Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe & a cast of thousands… Here they performed with about 10 more members. So there were about 12 members and it was great show of outstanding quality. I was dancing in the rain and I really enjoyed it! I will never forget it… Thanks to Basement Jaxx!!! :-)
I am a big fan of food so I enjoyed lot of kiosks with all kind of food from czech to italian or even thai!

I have one tip for everybody loving great music and festival life. Rock for people 2008 in Hradec Kralove!
